Land and More is a marketplace for Nigerian property: land, houses, rentals, and spaces. Every listing is reviewed by our team before it is published, and a tier badge tells you exactly which checks have been done.

Four verticals: land for sale or lease, houses for sale, rentals (houses, flats, and rooms to let), and spaces for events, studios, co-working, storage, or short stays. Every one of them carries the same verification tier badge, so the standard of proof is consistent across the marketplace.

It means exactly what the badge says and nothing more. The tier badge tells you which checks have been done on that listing: identity, documents, site or full title. A Not yet checked badge means none of them has been done.

Only when the check for that tier has been done. Tier 1 needs a member of our team to have reviewed an identity document the seller uploaded. We do not run document, site or title checks on listings today. A listing shows the date of its check when one is on record.

Our own team reviews every listing before it goes live, and reviews the identity document a seller chooses to upload (Tier 1). Tiers 2 to 4 would need a professional, and no one does those checks on listings for us today. Through Verify a property, a lawyer we work with can review a property's documents, with a land registry search where the state allows it. We do not visit sites.

A check is a record, not insurance. We show you what has been checked so you can decide what to check yourself. Keep every document and message from your purchase, and talk to your lawyer.

Every listing lets you message the seller, request an inspection or request document copies, and each request is recorded under My requests in your dashboard. There are no WhatsApp or phone hand-offs.

Not for a property deal. We review listings and connect you with sellers; we never hold money for a property deal. Always pay through channels you and your lawyer control, and keep the documents as your record. The only payment we take is the quoted fee for a check you ask for through Verify a property.

Create a seller account and submit through the guided wizard: land, house, rental, or space. Nothing about identity is asked for when you list. Our team reviews every submission and assigns a verification tier before it appears on the public marketplace. Uploading an identity document for our team to review is optional; once it is reviewed, a listing can be approved at ID Verified.

It depends on the vertical. Land and houses need at least one title document (title deed, governor's consent, deed of assignment, or gazette). Rentals need ownership proof or an authority to let. Spaces need an authority to let and a premises permit. The wizard shows you the exact checklist for what you're listing.
