Land and More is a verification-led marketplace for Nigerian property: land, houses, rentals, and spaces. Every listing is checked before it goes public, and a tier badge tells you exactly what has been verified and by whom.
What kinds of property can I find here?+
Four verticals: land for sale or lease, houses for sale, rentals (houses, flats, and rooms to let), and spaces for events, studios, co-working, storage, or short stays. Every one of them carries the same verification tier badge, so the standard of proof is consistent across the marketplace.
What does 'verified' actually mean here?+
Every listing passes through our verification system before going public. The tier badge tells you exactly what's been checked, ID, documents, site, or full title, and who checked it: our team for the seller's NIN, and for the rest the person or firm named on the listing's verification record.
How the checking works
How long does verification take?+
Tier 1 is assigned when our team approves the listing. Tiers 2 to 4 are assigned once the evidence from the document review, the site visit or the registry search has been recorded, and Tier 4 also waits on the land registry. A listing shows the date its tier was verified when that date is on record.
Who actually does the checking?+
Tier 1 is our own team: a member of staff reviews the seller's NIN slip or card. For Tiers 2 to 4, a legal practitioner reviews the documents the seller supplied, a surveyor visits the site, and a search is run at the relevant land registry; the listing names the person or firm who performed each check.
What if something goes wrong after I buy?+
Verification is evidence, not insurance. We show you what's been checked so you can decide what risk you're taking. For Tier 4 purchases, the title pack includes documentation your lawyer can use in any dispute.
Reaching out and staying safe
How do I ask about a listing?+
Every listing has in-app actions: message the seller, request an inspection, or request document copies. Everything stays on the platform with a record. There are no off-platform WhatsApp or phone hand-offs, so your trail is always one place.
I'm buying or renting from abroad. How does this work?+
Every step happens through the platform. Documents, inspection reports, and title packs arrive by email, and whoever performs a check does the ground work and is named on the listing. You only travel in if you want to.
Does Land and More handle my money?+
No. We verify property and connect you with sellers; we never take custody of your funds. Always pay through channels you and your lawyer control, and keep the verified documentation as your record.
Putting a property on the platform
How do I list a property?+
Create a seller account and submit through the guided wizard: land, house, rental, or space. We collect your NIN when you list. Admin reviews every submission and assigns a verification tier before it appears on the public marketplace.
What documents will I need to provide?+
It depends on the vertical. Land and houses need at least one title document (title deed, governor's consent, deed of assignment, or gazette). Rentals need ownership proof or an authority to let. Spaces need an authority to let and a premises permit. The wizard shows you the exact checklist for what you're listing.
